About Us
The Executive Home Care experience is steeped in understanding of aging, and it comes from a place of genuine compassion for our fellow human being. With every interaction we have with our clients, we express our desire to improve their lives however we can.
We are guided by a unified mission and set of three core values. These principles are communicated throughout our organization, from our home office throughout our network of local caregivers.
The Executive Home Care Mission
We work in a unique industry with unique opportunities to provide meaningful improvement in seniors’ lives. We also realize that this comes with great responsibility.
At Executive Home Care, our mission is to improve quality of life for our clients and their families while focusing on service excellence.
By ‘service excellence’ we don’t just mean showing up every day and meeting client needs. With every client visit, we bring our humanity with us. We view our clients as extensions of our family, and we treat them as if they were part of our own circle of friends.
…because that’s how we would want to be treated.
Service excellence also means delivering a memorable, exceptional experience not just for the senior, but for their family—the ones who think of them often and who want them to live their best life every day.
Our Team
The Story Behind Executive Home Care of Stratford
The foundation of Executive Home Care of Stratford is deeply rooted in family, compassion, and personal experience. Long before entering the home care industry, the Savoie family—Michael, his sister Robin, and their mother Camille—were well-known in the community as local business owners. For 27 years, they successfully operated two family-run restaurants, building strong relationships and a reputation for hard work, hospitality, and care.
Their transition from the restaurant industry to home care was not one made lightly—it was born from profound personal loss and caregiving experience. Within a short period of time, the family endured the passing of several loved ones, including Camille’s husband and Michael and Robin’s father, who passed away at the age of 55. During his illness, Camille served as his primary caregiver around the clock. His condition was physically demanding and emotionally draining, requiring constant support and attention. Even during his hospital stays, when restraints were suggested for his safety, Camille remained by his side, day and night, to ensure he was never alone and always treated with dignity.
Her strength and devotion left a lasting impression on her children. Camille’s experiences in caregiving, combined with her unwavering compassion, led her to encourage Michael and Robin to consider a new path—one where their shared empathy and love for seniors could truly make a difference. Inspired by their mother’s resilience and guided by a desire to help other families facing similar challenges, the Savoies made the decision to open Executive Home Care in 2014.
Since then, their commitment to delivering compassionate, reliable care has never wavered. Becoming part of the home care community has proven to be a deeply meaningful and rewarding journey for the family. Though the decision came through hardship, it has become a source of healing, purpose, and pride. Today, their legacy of service continues to be felt by every client, family, and caregiver they’ve touched through their work.
A New Chapter for Executive Home Care of Stratford
Executive Home Care of Stratford is proud to begin a new chapter under the leadership of Al Criscuolo, a dedicated professional with a lifelong commitment to compassionate, high-quality care. With Al stepping in as the new owner, our mission remains the same: to provide dependable, dignified in-home care that families can trust.
Al brings a wealth of experience in healthcare, beginning his journey as a home care agency administrator after earning his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University. From those early days working directly with clients and caregivers, Al was inspired to expand his impact. Over the years, he held national leadership roles within major hospital systems, helping to integrate home health services into broader care models and reinforcing the importance of coordinated, community-based care.
His professional path also includes a Master in Health Care Administration and an MBA in Finance—credentials that reflect his strong foundation in strategy, operations, and thoughtful leadership. Throughout his career, Al has remained grounded in the values of empathy, respect, and trust. His approach to care is shaped not only by experience, but by a deep understanding of the importance of relationships—with clients, families, care teams, and community partners.
The transition of ownership from Michael and Robin, who founded the agency in 2014 after years of successful business experience and personal caregiving insight, has been planned with care and intention. Their shared values and connection with Al have made for a natural transition. Working together, they’ve ensured that the spirit of the agency—and the quality of care it provides—remains strong and consistent.
As Executive Home Care of Stratford moves forward with Al at the helm, we remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our community. The commitment to delivering care with compassion, dignity, and excellence will always be at the heart of everything we do.

What our customers are saying
Our Values
Executive Home Care operates with guidance from three main values: Commitment, Compassion, and Quality of Care.
Our Commitment
Is, firstly, to the safety of our clients. Secondly, we are committed to their comfort and independence as much as is reasonably possible considering their condition and situation.
The Compassion
of our caregivers is what we look for when we hire them. We screen for people who are genuinely driven by a desire to connect with and support others, and it’s this compassion that shines through in their service to our clients.
Quality of Care
Refers to the technical nature of how our caregivers attend to our clients. This is where training and experience matter most. Providing a high quality of care ensures that our clients can relax more, breathe easier, and simply enjoy more of life.
